What is the most rewarding part of your job at Byrne Dairy?
“The most rewarding part of Continuous Improvement is the implementation. As well as this when managers come up to me with things to change and problems that could be fixed, I know I’m making a difference.” – Joel F.
What surprised you most about starting at Byrne?
Something that surprised him the most was how invested upper management was. Joel says, “They are really involved and engaged with the company and the employees.”
What project have you completed that you are most proud of?
“It was taking a really long time to clean the conveyor walls so I designed a piece that would clean them automatically. I took up welding so I could make some of them and attach them to the conveyors. It ended up taking off 30 minutes from the cleaning cycle.” – Joel F.
